On ViolinConvert, some pieces may fail to transcribe correctly due to a few common factors. Here are the main reasons why your transcription might not work — and how to resolve them:
🎻 1) Your file is too large or too long
ViolinConvert has limitations on file size and duration. If your audio file or YouTube video exceeds these limits, the transcription may fail.
✅ Make sure your audio file is no larger than 15MB
✅ YouTube videos should be no longer than 10 minutes
🛑 2) Your audio file contains internal errors
Sometimes, files may contain corrupt data that prevent ViolinConvert from processing them correctly.
🔹 Try using a different version of your recording
🔹 If your file is in WAV format, convert it to MP3, which is easier to handle
🌐 3) Internal server issue on ViolinConvert
ViolinConvert relies on cloud infrastructure. On rare occasions, server issues may temporarily prevent transcriptions from being processed.
🔗 4) Unsupported YouTube link format
Certain YouTube URLs might not be recognized. Try copying the link using a different method:
1️⃣ Copy the URL directly from your browser’s address bar
2️⃣ Right-click a search result on YouTube and choose “Copy link”
3️⃣ Use the “Share” button below the video and copy the link from the popup
🎻 Still having trouble? Try using a different link or upload your audio file in MP3 format instead.
5) Your VPN may be interfering with the transcription
Some users have reported that having a VPN enabled on their device caused transcription processes to fail (e.g., stopping at 90%) or prevented file downloads. If you are using a VPN, we recommend turning it off and trying again. This small change has resolved many similar cases.
