SingConvert cannot transcribe recordings that are too long or too large. The following limits apply:

Audio files must be under 15 MB

YouTube videos must be under 10 minutes

If your file is too big, here’s how to reduce its size:

🎤 1 - Convert to MP3 format

If your recording is in WAV or FLAC format, converting it to MP3 will reduce its file size while maintaining good quality.

🔹 Convert your file here:

https://convertio.co/wav-mp3/

🎶 2 - Use a shorter version of the song

If you’re not attached to a specific version, look for a shorter recording that fits within the file limits.

Example: If you’re transcribing a long vocal performance, try using an excerpt or a simplified version.

✂ 3 - Trim your audio file

If you want to keep the same version but shorten it, use an online audio cutter.

🔹 Trim your audio file here:

🎚 4 - Compress your MP3 file

If your MP3 is still too large, you can compress it—but be careful! Too much compression may affect transcription accuracy.

🔹 Use this free MP3 compressor:

📌 Tip: Always test the 30-second free trial to check the transcription quality before processing an entire song.
