When uploading a file to SaxConvert, you can now choose between two types of audio content:
• A solo saxophone track, containing only the saxophone (recommended)
• A multi-instrument track, which includes a saxophone along with other instruments
If you choose the multi-instrument option, SaxConvert will automatically isolate the saxophone part using a high-quality instrument separation system, then transcribe only the saxophone notes into sheet music (PDF, MIDI, MusicXML). This ensures that all other instruments in the mix are ignored, so you get clean and focused saxophone sheet music.
1. 🎷 Solo saxophone track
Select this option if your audio contains only saxophone, with no vocals or other instruments.
This is the ideal choice to obtain a high-quality transcription. Your file will be processed and transformed into sheet music available in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.
Recommended examples:
• Classical or jazz solo saxophone performances
• Saxophone-only covers
• Any audio with a clear and isolated saxophone sound
Tip: Avoid using recordings with background noise, poor audio quality, or spoken instructions over the music.
2. 🎼 Multi-instrument track (including saxophone)
Select this option if your audio includes several instruments, but you’re only interested in transcribing the saxophone part.
In this case, SaxConvert will isolate and extract only the saxophone notes, ignoring all other instruments in the track. The resulting files will contain the saxophone part only, in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.
Recommended examples:
• Pop or jazz songs with vocals and saxophone
• Band or orchestral arrangements featuring saxophone
• Multi-instrument recordings or ensembles that include saxophone
