How do I use the PianoConvert Chrome extension?

The PianoConvert extension for Google Chrome lets you transcribe YouTube piano videos into sheet music directly from the YouTube platform in just 2 clicks.

To make full use of the PianoConvert Chrome plugin, please follow the steps below:

1. Check that you have downloaded and installed the plugin on your Google Chrome browser: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/pianoconvert/ndcbndpecibhkikhlojakdbadebgkldg

2. Create your PianoConvert account or log in to your existing account

3. Visit your favorite piano videos on YouTube :

4. Once on the page of your piano video, click on the "Transcribe to sheet music" button that appears next to the video title thanks to the Chrome extension :

If no button appears on your page, it means that the word "piano" is not in the title or description of your YouTube video. You must then find another piano solo version of your piece on YouTube.

5. Once you've clicked the button, a popup appears. Enter the title and composer of the piece, tick the box indicating your acceptance of PianoConvert's Terms and Conditions, and start transcription:

6. After a few tens of seconds (or a few minutes if converting a complete piece), your transcription is ready and stored in your PianoConvert account. You'll be notified both by email and directly on your YouTube account when your transcription is complete:

7. Click on the link in the e-mail or the YouTube button to upload your transcript in PDF, MIDI and musicxml formats to your PianoConvert account:

8. To access your entire transcriptions history, go to the "My transcriptions" tab in your PianoConvert account:
