While OrganConvert is one of the most accurate tools for automatically transcribing organ pieces into sheet music, it does not produce perfect results in all cases. To get the most precise transcription possible, be sure to follow our recommendations below:

1️⃣ Transcribe only songs that contain solo organ

OrganConvert works best with organ-only recordings. Avoid importing songs that include other instruments or vocals, as they may interfere with the transcription.

Here are some examples of the type of recordings we recommend using for transcription:

🔹 Solo organ performances in a church or cathedral

🔹 Classical études or liturgical pieces for organ alone

🔹 Original compositions or improvisations played on solo organ

2️⃣ Provide a high-quality audio file

The better the audio quality, the more accurate the transcription. Avoid files with:

Crackling, background noise, or poor recording quality

Multiple instruments, ambient reverb or audio effects that mask the notes

3️⃣ Avoid overly complex organ pieces

Organ music with dense polyphony, fast runs, or overlapping pedal and manual voices can be more challenging for automatic transcription. For best results, choose clearer, simpler arrangements of your favorite organ works.

4️⃣ Enter your song’s musical information

Before each transcription, you can manually input details about your piece, such as:

Time signature (4/4, 3/4, etc.)

BPM (tempo)

Providing this information helps OrganConvert refine the transcription and deliver more accurate results.
