OrganConvert cannot transcribe pieces that are too long or too large. To optimize the transcription process, the following limits have been set:

Audio files must be under 15 MB

YouTube videos must be under 10 minutes

If your file exceeds these limits, here’s how to reduce its size quickly and efficiently:

🎹 1 - Convert to MP3 format

If your audio file is in WAV or FLAC format, converting it to MP3 can significantly reduce its size.

🔹 Use this free tool to convert your file: https://convertio.co/wav-mp3/

🎵 2 - Find a shorter version of the piece

If you’re not attached to a specific arrangement, try transcribing a shorter version of the piece.

Example: If your original organ recording is too long, look for a simplified or condensed version that fits within the file size limit.

3 - Trim your audio file

If you want to keep the exact same version but shorten it, you can use an online audio cutter to select a portion of the piece.

🔹 Use this tool to cut your audio file precisely: https://mp3cut.net/

🎚 4 - Compress your MP3 file

If your MP3 file still exceeds 15MB, you can compress it to reduce its size. However, be careful—too much compression may lower the transcription quality.

🔹 Use this tool to compress your MP3 file: https://www.onlineconverter.com/compress-mp3
📌 Tip: Always use the 30-second free trial before converting an entire piece to check the transcription quality.
