GuitarConvert cannot transcribe songs that are too long or too large. To optimize the transcription process, the following limits have been set:

Audio files must be under 15 MB

YouTube videos must be under 10 minutes

If your file exceeds these limits, here’s how to reduce its size quickly and efficiently:

🎸 1 - Convert to MP3 format

If your audio file is in WAV or FLAC format, converting it to MP3 can significantly reduce its size.

🔹 Use this free tool to convert your file:

🎵 2 - Find a shorter version of the song

If you’re not attached to a specific arrangement, try transcribing a shorter version of the song.

Example: If your original guitar recording is too long, look for a simplified or condensed version that fits within the file size limit.

✂ 3 - Trim your audio file

If you want to keep the exact same version but shorten it, you can use an online audio cutter to select a portion of the song.

🔹 Use this tool to cut your audio file precisely:

🎚 4 - Compress your MP3 file

If your MP3 file still exceeds 15MB, you can compress it to reduce its size. However, be careful—too much compression may lower the transcription quality.

🔹 Use this tool to compress your MP3 file:
