When uploading a file to GuitarConvert, you can now choose between two types of audio content:

• A solo guitar track, containing only the guitar (recommended)

• A multi-instrument track, which includes a guitar along with other instruments

If you choose the multi-instrument option, GuitarConvert will automatically isolate the guitar part using a high-quality instrument separation system, then transcribe only the guitar notes into sheet music (PDF, MIDI, MusicXML). This ensures that all other instruments in the mix are ignored, so you get clean and focused guitar sheet music.

1. 🎸 Solo guitar track

Select this option if your audio contains only guitar, with no vocals or other instruments.

This is the ideal choice to obtain a high-quality transcription. Your file will be processed and transformed into sheet music available in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.

Recommended examples:

• Classical solo guitar recordings

• Guitar-only covers

• Any audio with clear, clean guitar and nothing else

Tip: Avoid using recordings with background noise, poor audio quality, or spoken instructions over the music.

2. 🎼 Multi-instrument track (including guitar)

Select this option if your audio includes several instruments, but you’re only interested in transcribing the guitar part.

In this case, GuitarConvert will isolate and extract only the guitar notes, ignoring all other instruments in the track. The resulting files will contain the guitar part only, in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.

Recommended examples:

• Pop songs with vocals and guitar

• Orchestral or band arrangements with guitar

• Jazz trios or multi-instrument compositions including guitar
