FluteConvert cannot transcribe files that are too long or too large. To optimize the transcription process, please keep the following limits in mind:

✅ Audio files must be under 15 MB

✅ YouTube videos must be under 10 minutes

If your file exceeds these limits, try one of the following methods:

1️⃣ Convert to MP3 format

If your audio file is in WAV or FLAC format, converting it to MP3 can significantly reduce its size without noticeable quality loss.

🔹 Use this free tool: https://convertio.co/wav-mp3/

2️⃣ Find a shorter version of the piece

If you’re not attached to a specific arrangement, try uploading a shorter or simplified excerpt of the flute recording.

Example: Instead of a 10-minute solo, use a 2–3 minute highlight section that fits the file size limit.

3️⃣ Trim your audio file

Want to keep the exact same version but shorten it? Use an online audio cutter to select just the part you want to transcribe.

🔹 Try this tool: https://mp3cut.net/

4️⃣ Compress your MP3 file

If your MP3 file is still too large, you can compress it slightly — just be cautious: excessive compression may reduce transcription quality.

🔹 Use this tool to compress your MP3: https://www.onlineconverter.com/compress-mp3
📌 Tip: Use the 30-second free trial to preview the transcription result before uploading the full piece.
