When uploading a file to DrumConvert, you can now choose between two types of audio content:

• A solo drum track, containing only drums or percussions (recommended)

• A multi-instrument track, which includes drums along with other instruments

If you choose the multi-instrument option, DrumConvert will automatically isolate the drum part using a high-quality instrument separation system, then transcribe only the drum patterns into sheet music (PDF, MIDI, MusicXML). This ensures that all other instruments in the mix are ignored, so you get clean and focused drum sheet music.

1. 🥁 Solo drum track

Select this option if your audio contains only drums or percussion instruments, with no vocals or melodic instruments.

This is the ideal choice to obtain a high-quality transcription. Your file will be processed and transformed into drum sheet music available in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.

Recommended examples:

• Solo drum performances or drum covers

• Isolated drum stems

• Any audio with only rhythmic content (no harmony or melody)

Tip: Avoid using recordings with background noise, poor audio quality, or voice-overs.

2. 🎼 Multi-instrument track (including drums)

Select this option if your audio includes several instruments, but you’re only interested in transcribing the drum part.

In this case, DrumConvert will isolate and extract only the drum sounds, ignoring all other instruments. The resulting files will contain the drum part only, in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.

Recommended examples:

• Rock or pop songs with drums and vocals

• Full band recordings with a clear drum section

• Jazz ensembles or any multi-instrument mix that includes drums
