DrumConvert cannot transcribe songs that are too long or too large. To ensure a smooth transcription process, the following limits apply:

✅ Audio files must be under 15 MB

✅ YouTube videos must be under 10 minutes

If your file exceeds these limits, here’s how you can reduce its size:

🥁 1 - Convert to MP3 format

If your audio file is in WAV or FLAC format, converting it to MP3 can greatly reduce the file size.

🔹 Use this free tool to convert your file: https://convertio.co/wav-mp3/

🎵 2 - Find a shorter version of the track

If you’re not committed to a specific version of your drum performance, try using a shorter or simplified version that fits within the size limit.

Example: Instead of a full 12-minute drum solo, use a 3-minute highlight or condensed groove section.

✂ 3 - Trim your audio file

Want to keep the exact same recording but reduce its length? Use an online audio cutter to select a specific portion of the track.

🔹 Try this audio cutter tool: https://mp3cut.net/

🎚 4 - Compress your MP3 file

If your MP3 file still exceeds the 15MB limit, you can compress it further. Just be cautious—excessive compression may impact audio clarity and reduce transcription quality.

🔹 Use this tool to compress your file: https://www.onlineconverter.com/compress-mp3
📌 Tip: Always use the 30-second free trial to test transcription quality before uploading the full track.
