When uploading a file to BassConvert, you can now choose between two types of audio content:

• A solo bass track, containing only the bass (recommended)

• A multi-instrument track, which includes a bass along with other instruments

If you choose the multi-instrument option, BassConvert will automatically isolate the bass part using a high-quality instrument separation system, then transcribe only the bass notes into sheet music (PDF, MIDI, MusicXML). This ensures that all other instruments in the mix are ignored, so you get clean and focused bass sheet music.

1. 🎸 Solo bass track

Select this option if your audio contains only bass, with no vocals or other instruments.

This is the ideal choice to obtain a high-quality transcription. Your file will be processed and transformed into sheet music available in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.

Recommended examples:

• Electric or upright bass solo performances

• Bass-only covers or grooves

• Any audio with a clear and isolated bassline

Tip: Avoid using recordings with background noise, poor audio quality, or spoken instructions over the music.

2. 🎼 Multi-instrument track (including bass)

Select this option if your audio includes several instruments, but you’re only interested in transcribing the bass part.

In this case, BassConvert will isolate and extract only the bass notes, ignoring all other instruments in the track. The resulting files will contain the bass part only, in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats.

Recommended examples:

• Pop, funk, or rock songs with vocals and bass

• Full band arrangements featuring bass

• Multi-instrument recordings where the bass plays a defined groove or solo
