A MIDI file is a computerized score of music. It is a format that has been used since the 1980s and is mainly used for computer music composition. Each note of the song is recorded in the MIDI file.

When you import a MIDI file into La Touche Musicale, the software will decrypt it and transform the information (notes, chords, tempo, ...) into a visual interface that allows you to understand it and play the song.
